There may not be hugh money in oats, but there is good money in oats considering they will replace the money losing board wheat in rotation.

The guys that laugh at oats are the same guys that haven't the climate for growing them.

Burbert, we know that you think that Main Street
Winnipeg is the centre of the universe, but
special crop producers have shown all of us that
the free market works well to the benefit of a
            great many producers and communities.

Sorry, but your fears are your own. Keep them
for the CWB. It will be all yours, lucky guy.

Special crops have done extremely well since the
80's. Farmers have done everything in their
power not to grow wheat board crops. We have
not had a permit book since the 80's. Many
farmers in our district feel the same way.

Small communities and prairie processing have
benefited from the 100 or more processing plants
in Saskatchewan. So it will be with wheat and
              barley.

I am done with UFA, they cut me out. So I move over to Co-op. And never go shopping to UFA. Hope they go under. Dividend is joke.

150 bushel oats at 3 plus is decent enough money. Less input costs too. Sure if you can't get 100 plus to save your soul, oats suck. Here less than 110 is a failure.

                    Gofer,

I hope this setback for UFA teaches them to stay true to those who built this company... farmers.

If they provide good service and products... we need the competition...
