Thanks C W B! Sold 2 bags Durum got shit all from you!

Just got the check for two bags of durum works
out to just over 4.75 a bushel in my pocket for
    number 2 durum.
    Yea I love the cwb!
Explain why this is such a great organization.
Oh yea they threatened me on 2000 ton to fine.
Simple answer in ND a few weeks ago when I
delivered this shit 15. oh yea it's a spot market.

    Do you need a hug?

You seem a little frustrated this morning?

Why didn't you get the elevator to misgrade your durum, pay the fee of 5 bucks a tonne and then deliver it new crop?

      bucket,

What makes you think the CWB will do better this year?

Probably rolled those contracts they didn't fill... and doubled down!

Yea bucket I need a hug. Got screwed and didn't
          even get a kiss.
They took on 25000 bushels compared to spot in
ND today $256,350.00 plus Brads $35000 pn
seeded acreage payment claw back equals one
          Frick of a bad day.
I guess the CWB does keep us all in line.
Threaten fines, jail and all are equal.

Boohoo, boohoo, Saskboy, you are being
misstreated by the cwb, again. Whine to
high heaven, snivel and go on farmin in
Comedia. Me thinks you should move to the
u.s. where there is no wheatie board and
its the land of the free and home of the
brave. Right up yer alley! Exchange rate
is good to right now, makes a lotta cents!
High roller like you would do great in the
            lower 50..........

Injustices such as apparently happened to Skfarmer are not something which can continue indefinately. Smug SOB's have got to have personal interests; to have the nerve to be gaining pleasure and supporting a CWB organization which is obviously not worth supporting in any way.
The costs of using the CWB may well be reason enough to dismantle the whole organization.
As an aside; the CWB has just sent out a whole batch of claims for non delivery penalties (some of which have absolutely no validity). I have been advised by the grain company to ignore the letter. Apparently there are many more who have received these letters.

Why didn't you buy your way out of the contact?
                      Roll it into next year.

I_F, I think he means the large grain bags that farmers have been using for the last few years. They hold about 10 000 bushels per bag, very much with the times, unlike you and the archaic, and soon to be voluntary, CWB.

                          $short,

The CWB has so messed up Durum marketing... what makes you think they will return a better price next year? They very likely sold rolled contracts at LOWER prices than last crop year!

They couldn't possibly screw up the durum pool
worse than they did last year

heh saskfarmer don't forget the 2/3 and 1/3 rule.
This is where 2/3 of the grain is SOLD at the Bottom 1/3 of the price

but you would never do that would you
