    [PICS] Crop update

Good germination for the most part, but too wet to take a tractor and sprayer in to spray... FML.

Looking at yer pics I just confirmed what needs to be done. Yous needa work that soil black in the fall if yous even wanna chance at a crop. Why??? So it warms up quicker, time is of the essence up there. Kin't have any residue on top cause it ain't dry out fast enough either. So in other words zerotill will NOT work. Looks like Darcy & her horse are gon have a full time job picking rocks this summer, better get the ole' stoneboat out the groves........

SF3, we own both.... we have 6" of soil on top of 20' of
rock gravel and that's what the stones come from....
you never finish. that field was picked clean two years
ago..... plus a lot of these are too small to get picked
up, they just fall between the teeth.
