Looks like Sat A.M. will be frosty again around here, hope the remaining plants are tough as hell. Not much for plant material left to freeze though lol.

Some canola fields here that have not been reseeded have just 30-40% plants left and out of that 20% are still o.k. and 80% have the hypocotyl(sp?) intact with one or two tiny pale green leaves sitting there, not dead yet but surviving at this time. Plant counts went from 50-60 plants/m2 to 15-35 from the first frost then to 5 - 15 from the second frost sunday. Whats left is on life support. We left 500 and reseeded 1200 so far. Sat A.M. will be the test for what is left. Weed controll will be interesting to say the least if we don't freeze off in the morning.Comment

It's snowing here right now. But I told my wife, if it's
snowing/raining, then it shouldn't freeze! That would
be the first night with no frost out of about 5-6.Comment
