clean lentils to get better grade

We cleaned some green lentils for some farmers
and the clean lentils made a better grade. They
went from a #3 to a extra 3.
It is worth cleaning for the difference in price.

What were you taking out to improve the grade? What screens and air were you using?

I am able to clean some large greens up from a sample grade to a #3.

Had to play with screens and air to get it right, but could take out enough damage until the sprouts degraded it to a 3. So will bring sample to 60% #3 and 40% sample grade.

So yes still very worth it.

The screens we used are scalping 20 round
sifting 13 round.

Then we went through a 32 indent after that.
