    CWB bought NHL seats?

Anybody hear a rumour that the CWB committed to purchasing luxury boxes in support of Winnipegs new team?

Nothing to do with the CWB but when the Thrashers move to Winnipeg I think they should change the name, not to the Jets, because it is kinda lame, but to the Manitoba Mashers. Their shtick could be when they win the crowd throws potatoes on the ice, and when they lose they throw them at the players.

Sorry it has been a long day on the tractor;-/

This only matters IF you choose to do business with them.

Possibly if they want to buy 10 years worth of seats while they have access to the pool account of all of Western Canada. Then we can be pissed and sue them for breach of duty....

BTW Sask Canola Commission supports the Riders to the tune of ??K/year. The directors say it helps with marketing. I have not seen the numbers to prove or disprove.

Think they should call the team Can West Boys. That way all the empty office space in downtown Winnipeg with CWB on it they can move right in..

We ain't want The Frickin team if they ain't keep the name Winnipeg Jets. Bring back their Vintage Jersey's even. Sayin they should change the name to appeal to the whole Province, what a Freakin Joke. Most teams use the City name with something. If'n they change the name, I hope they go broke once & fer all!!!!!!!

Seats are going to be $82/game. Luxury boxes over $100,000/year. Season tickets for two (for 5 years) $30,000.
Gary Bettman said corporate Winnipeg would have to step up to the plate and fill the building every night!
Marketing grain at the hockey game?

To me the big question here is:
If you were a employee of CWB and loved hockey, would you try to get your hands on some of those tickets. Remember people, we sometimes are always jealous of what goes on, it is not always a question of if it is right or wrong. What would you do as a CWB employee. Now the big wonder here is as a farmer can you give me a honest answer. Remember now, I don't want a bunch of lalalalalala, would you take the tickets yes or no???
