    Fire Danger!!!!

As the rest of the praries is still soggy we had 4 major fires here in the area yesterday alone. Three fires were huge and could be seen for 20-30 miles. Forecast is for winds of 40-60 with a fire/smoke symbol on the enviro Can website. First time I ever seen that in our area. Fire bans in effect. Should be done seeding by tue/weds. Although fires are not uncommon in spring on the reserves around here, yesterday was very bad and today could be a gong show.

If it isn't one thing it is another. Everyone has their own set of problems in this business. Fire was a great concern to me with all the stubble fields around these days. Was going to start tilling the borders of the fields as a safety measure, but instead ripped everything up last fall so no more fire worries.

Way to go on the seeding! Sounds like there will be a few beers drank around Wednesday!

West side more chance of rain. Perfect start to your crop, and kill the fires or smoke. Enjoy!
Just keep the rain there, NONE required here for a month at least.
Muddy wheels just starting to turn.

More today with the guys fightin fire within 2 miles, some retard started a bruch pile in march which started smokin yeterday but they were too buisy seedin the extra 4000 ac to deal with it - so the rest of us had too..
Starting to not to care - our little 6000 ac garden patch will be done tomorow. Most of these clowns only half done. Yep rent more retards - weather will always be perfect. Oh and buy more machienery to get er done... regardless of wind , rain, sun, snow, frost.

Showers last night - thank god. What a crazy few days. Those fires where jumping 400 500 yards in seconds in that wind, thankfully nobody got killed or hurt. 12 tractors with discs and cults were scambling everywhere within 20 min. Good to see everyone pitch in while the fire dept was too scared to get their fire engines stuck. We reminded them several times it is kinda dry here. No matter - farmers with there own equip and water trucks got the job done.
