Ag census, anybody filling it in?

Is it considered a "long form census" ? Can they legally? or will they cross reference anything with all the other forms and papers a guy fills out? anybody playing with the crops for seeded acres in 2011?

How to avoid the long form census:

They'll phone you daily when you haven't filled it
out and sent it back ( call display is a necessity ).
Finally, after seeding is finished, you answer the
phone, answer a few questions for 2 minutes,
        and you're done.

        Worked for me.

Not really worried about doing it. Seeding is priority. If they want to ride around in tractor then why not.

Hi, I've jumped over here from the beef forum. I have a question if anyone knows the answer. I don't have a problem answering the questions about what we produce, but the questions about the market value of land and machinery, and having to report gross farm receipts and operating expenses when all that information is on AgStab and Income Tax return. Does anyone know if these questions are mandatory?

Done long form in 20 minutes, of course its all estimates. It really doesn't matter how accurate individuals are, it is the sample size that is important.

File a complaint with Ritz' office, and do what you will with the form.
