eleven and a half months of below normal temps

Starting to get the feeling a lot of farmers are starting to panic
because of the slow start to spring work...

I was wondering if there has been any credible explanation as to why
its been so cold and wet here in western Canada for over eleven months
now. Is it because some ocean current has shifted, or some volcano
eruption somewhere has had an effect on us? I don't know but I'm sure
    someone has an explanation.

Tim Ball and Drew Learner called it a long time ago. Low sun spot activity, El Nina, and arctic low presure.

And Drew suggests the cool wet pattern goes to 2018 before it starts on a warmer dryer cycle.
          Can you survive that?
