Good morning everybody. Here in my part of the country (Maple Creek SK. ) we have lost pretty well all of our snow, but the cypress hills got dumped on and the forecast is still talking for more. Hope they are wrong. I have got a lot of water laying where I havent seen it before ,although pictures from 1952 that we have show similar conditions , so this really isn't a first. I never thought I would say that I wish for a warm west wind and no moisture for a long while. If the experts think we are going to have more crop in than last year , maybe they should talk to the fellas on the east side of the province. I have also heard that south of cypress hills still have lots of snow. When Old mother nature decides to turn the heat up , there is going to be a lot of water running where we dont want it. Pretty hard to pay bills with crop insurance.

3" of wet white crap last night and it's still light snow.
That's on top of old snow.
So white the sun will have no effect.
Not only does the crop look lost, the land is being ruined for years.

Young guys will change their minds about water the minute the grasshoppers are back chewing off what the sun hasn't baked.

These setbacks leave more time for fishing.

I'd have to move to ever see that!
                  Have never seen it here.
They drown in the mud every year except 3 of the last 60!

Must be Cypress Colony, which broke off from Big Bend Colony in 1953, which broke off from New Elm Spring Colony in 1920, which came here from South Dakota in 1918 after they sold there land. Pretty good eh??? Guess what??? It all comes down to them coming here when the first World War begun. Hope yous realize OUR fore fathers broke this Land. Do you guys even care about anything in life???

                          OK:

Open a new file in your computer.

                          Call it 'BTOFarmall'

                          Delete this file.

                          Your computer will ask you:

Do you really want to get rid of 'BTOFarmall'

                          You can answer yes!

                          Tomorrow... we can Do 'BTOFarmalll'
