All H2O broke loose yesterday in the Wishart/Foam Lake area. Buses not running, all four roads to get out from our place are either closed or close to being washed away.

Its funny talking to some that say where is the water? All they had to do was wait one day. And this is supposed to be a slow thaw. Good thing we are in an RM that upgraded all the culverts durring the disaster years.

Keep a close eye on your out buildings or equipment if they are on lower land or close to a run. There can be big changes, just over night. Haven't seen water runing this high since the 70's.

God speed to you guys, heavy snowfall warnings in central Alberta mixed with rain and headed east, south-east over the next 24 hrs. Hopefully the cool temps next 5 days slows the water?? Southern Manitoba is going to be swamped when all this water from Sask and the Dakota's hit at the same time. A historical event - yet again.
