      dalek,

Are you warm enough that you can actually tell if it has been killed?

Are your lawns in Ontario actually greening up now?

Yes Tom, there are lawns greening up, lots of green wheat in areas where it wintered through OK. The adjusters are already starting to inspect some fields now.

        I wouldn't say I'm 100% sure it's beyond saving yet but 85% sure anyway.

Snowing again today but last week some of the custom liquid manure spreaders were starting to run.

Hopper, some of the acres could also be CRP, a lot of land was up for renewal this year, so I heard, and farmers may have opted to turn it back to crops.

Considering moisture and grain prices I was also thinking that.

Good move yes its marketing one oh one. But funny Canola wins because its open market. Any one should have realized that the prices would go back up the USA farmer is going to grow corn do the math its big profit not like soy. So they have to buy acres and their doing it. To bad we cant take the profit the USA farmer is getting with wheat. HM oh thats a political point which is what is being discussed. So I guess its marketing just on anouther page.

Stan Jeeves talking at Wadena Market Outlook suggests land will come out of hay acres in US due to reductions in cattle numbers.
