    Hail effect on Crop insurance

    In 2008 I had alot of hail and my dicount went down as a result. Phoned crop insurance and the said hail claims do have a effect on discounts. Thought I had heard hail was not supose to have a negative effect on yield and discounts. The hail I had was 100% on half my land and 30-60% on the other half.

      Unfortunately hail affects yield and experience. I was hailed in 1997, 1999, and 2001. My yield took a real beating. Finally got past 1999's 8 bushel yield. Can't wait to be over 2001's as well, they have been a drag on my coverage.
