    South America Has Problems!!!

    Losses over R$200,000,000.

    Soybeans rotten. Crushers not buying.

Planting of the corn crop being delayed. Farmers run the risk of losing the crop to an early freeze, which can happen in this region of Brazil.

The soybean crop damage caused by rains in the São Gabriel do Oeste area of Mato Grosso do Sul generates discouragement and concern among farmers since 87% of the crop was already committed. With the harvest yields less than expected it will be difficult to pay the debts incurred for this crop.

Some spots 100% loss on 800 ha; others less.

This in time will revise total Brazil soybean production a bit lower.

Under 70 MMT for final number and less 2nd crop corn without a doubt

Now hearing reports of winterkill in winter ****seed in both Germany and Ukraine as well. Could be a wild ride. How short can oilseeds get? Has Oilworld factored this in yet? When is their next report?

Is it that time of year again? Saskfarmer3 starts killing the canola crop?

Do you think he waits for the time to change?

Just once I want to see he sold some.

Now now you guys, stop accusing SF3 of being Chicken Little and crying the sky is falling. Regarding his apparent lack of canola sales, I think we would all be better off if we were in a position to exercise our power of choice and sell our crops only if we wanted(when we wanted) to instead of having to(when we least want to). Could you imagine, if all Western Canadian farmers had that power of choice. On a national level, we would be in control. Internationally it probably wouldn't mean near as much. Somewhat delusional, eh!!Choice=Power&Power=Choice

It looks like 4 inches for Mato Grosso do Sul the next 5 days.

I am of the mind that 2 MMT has been lost.

3 or 4 MMT is a leap, but not impossible.

Funny how fast the numbers change.
