new crop flax price??

anyone know of a flax price for new crop? viterra MJ was 12.88 a couple weeks ago had a target for$13,not picked up,now price is $12.38

might try a target for$12.50 for a starting point on the first 5-10 bu. per acre.

With canola where it is and even wheat, flax is not a competitive crop to be planting at $13 in our area. $13 in not going to get any of my acres seeded to flax, and we are typically 25-35% flax.

I agree flax acres will be down based on current economics. $13 is not even close to being competetive with other crops in our area.
