    China

Food inflation reached 5% in January. How do you quell unrest ? Keep food cheap. Could be a very interesting year if there are any more crop problems in the world this year. Chinese have developed a taste for better food and it isn't going anywhere.

Don't worry agstar, the cwb sold china wheat they didn't have last june so the cwb is now sourcing it from somewhere and using the farmers' money to finance the deal.

      Agstar77,

" Chinese have developed a taste for better food and it isn't going anywhere."

Sounds like CWB managers... telling us all the stress over these Chinese ships... and the requirement to purchase them... is the price we farmers must pay... to keep steak dinners on the table at the fine diners and establishments for special CWB brass.

incognito telling us they really do care about grain growers IN THE cwb 'DESIGNATED AREA'.

The intangible benefits of a CWB with absolutely no good will...

And COmputers we paid over $130million for... to justify the 'single desk' monopoly.

Lower our expectations... Agstar77... we are obviously charging folks in AsiaPacific too much for our grain!
