    PDAP

Just curious if anyone has received any dollars from
the PDAP program? I have had my claim in since early
August and all I get when I phone in, if I get thru, is
that they don't know when I could expect my
assistance money. I am a little miffed with the
Saskparty's slow turnaround on this. I realize there are
a lot of claims, but once your appraisers report is in,
what more is there to do, other than to SHOW ME THE
    MONEY...

Dito here, guys around here are told the files aren't at the office yet when the adjusters are contacted they say they handed it in months ago. Yet if you remember how many times gov reps and reporters stated how fast the program is, question is to who? Not one person in our immediate area has recieved any money from that program.

It is supposed to cover losses that your normal insurance doesn,t cover. Guys around here had bales with water 3 feet up the side, roads washed out etc. On the news during the summer supposedly people's furnaces etc. basements that were flooded out in Yorkton and other towns was supposed to be covered, not sure about that because can't you purchase insurance for that? I think the RMs get compensated for bridge repair etc. Our RM is still waiting for money for the 2005 flooding so seems pretty disfunctional.

I had good luck with the program in 2006 as I was in
desperate need of gravel for my bin area but also to
jack some bins up.. I received some assistance within a
couple months of the claim. After having quite a few
bins sink on me this year i decided to do the job right
and move my bins to create a good base. The adjuster
came out and everything was fine by him. He told me i
should receive some funding by the end of Jan...
