At our board meeting yesterday... I had lunch with a very bright young lady 'Michelle'.

She had a big concern about democracy in China. Many questions about the Middle East termoil... and how China has dealt with this problem in the past. Tanks and guns.

Chinese police squelch peaceful shows of protest

"Online calls for peaceful Chinese protests to resemble Tunisia's "Jasmine Revolution" have ended with a number of reporters and citizens being bundled into Chinese security vehicles.


The protests had been planned via anonymous messages left on a U.S. website in China, and called for people to rally against the government in 13 cities including in Beijing and Shanghai to mirror the ongoing Mideast democracy movement."

I think this could be very disruptive to the markets and cause a hard sell off of commodities.

It will be interesting to see what the grain markets do Monday following the nice rally on Friday.

China worried about importing GMO grain!! Hah! Up to 10% of china's crop area may be polluted with Heavy metals cadium andother toxic pollutants. They may have already destroyed 12 million tons of grain because it is contaminated.
