    Global Ag Risk Solutions

Anybody look into their insurance ideas seriously? Do they have enough capital to back them up if a disaster were to occur next year? Just wondering if they were an option instead of crop insurance.

They are backed by the Loyds of London. We have signed on to offer it here in the north West. Will it replace Crop Ins? Depends on individual status IMO.

It looks like they will be fiancially viable then. So any idea on who will be running the program for the east central region? Never hurts to look into something new.

Interesting, but it looks like they are limiting it to lucky farmers only. Sounds like agstability....

Similar to agstability, but for the life of me cannot understand how they expect to compete with government programs we have now. A 5000 acre farm with a margin of 100 dollars per acre will be charged a fee of 85000 dollars they appear to protect into neg. margin territory though. http://www.producer.com/Print.aspx?aid=29620 They should be shut down in the first couple of years.

Hopper, your last attachment has nothing to do with Global Ag Solutions of Saskatchewan.

Your article is written from somewhere in the US.
