Agriculture canada is spouting this stat here in UK. Is it accurate?

The prices are up for new crop, not as high as in the US, but high enough to attract acres.

The problem is how wet it is, how late the crop gets in and the summer/fall weather. Plantings may go up but I struggle to see a production increase, to refill to an adequate supplies level. Especially in high quality.

The plantings should be up 9 percent from last year someone help me with the stats but we just went through a large unplanted acreage because of too wet last year. Pretty sure the acres are not coming from Canola, maybe from barley somewhat. Whould this even get us back to 5 year average planted? We have to deal with midge when planting wheat, I would have to see it to believe it. Most I talk to are the most confused of what to plant in a long time.
