When its falling it suggests a weaker economic outlook.

Will ag commodities be immune to the down turn? Shouldn't lower baltic prices make for cheaper imports of "our" pulses, hence more sales with stable prices?

The other issue is more capacity. High ocean freight stimulated lots of ship building 2 to 3 years ago. Lots of capacity. That is a good thing for agriculture both in terms of price and availability.
