Timm Now your just trying to piss people off. You know your yeild and quality July 30?
One thing I am surprised at though is that by the sounds of it you produce 4000 tonne of spring wheat. What surprises me is that you would be one of very few people, producing that much, who supports the monopoly.

Better yet, if he produces that much why would a farmer need the board. Grain companies would fall all over themselves for that. And since he is so astute why would he need the board if the open market, like in the states, would provide him with good return any day of the year without precentage calls on delivery.

Remarkable that he is so charitable.

I smell aload of bull comming from Timm 1000mt is 25% of your crop. HA HA HA that should be left for April 1st not Xmas. Admit it Timm your really not in flexpro and you are a director that favors the cwb. Fact, people become directors because the CWB prices cant keep their farm going without an off farm job. Now I will stop talking eskimo. Go find a forum that you can fit in Timm with all your CWB friends.

Oh, so now you are ahead of the game by storing grain. Is the cwb paying you to store enough to cover the cost of your investment?

Better question is why would you store grain for other countries? You must be extremely wealthy to carry another nations needs and boast about it.

Do you have tea with Warren often?

                  timm,

Good for you. For what ever reason you claim to have buckets of money.

Hope you enjoy it as you break young farmers who need the last $50-100/t to keep farming... while you negotiate a sweet deal with the CWB to pick pocket us!

Hope you are proud of destroying your neighbour.

Hmm... lets take a look then at Sun Prairie Grains website.

                    http://www.sunprairiegrain.com/markets.php

The Friday closing prices for spring wheat were $8.02 USD for December, January, February and March delivery. It looks like the new crop price is $7.31 USD

The bank of Canada exchange rate on Friday was .9944 (noon)

So that's $8.06/bu Canadian for old crop and $7.35 for new crop at Sun Prairie in Minot.

Fridays CWB fixed price contract with average Mb deductions taken off is $7.41/bu Canadian.

Fridays CWB flex pro with average Mb deductions taken off comes to $7.88

Now where I come from $8.06/bu beats $7.41/bu and $7.88/bu. Especially when that $8.06 is available to everyone not just those who won the flexpro signup lottery.

It looks to me like timm was trying to get away with comparing the current fixed and flexpro prices to U.S. new crop prices. Not what you would call an apples to apples or a fair comparison.

Bottom line- Open market beats the CWB on this particular day(again!).
