    Statistics Canada Crop Production Forecast

Below is the web address for the Stat Can Report.

Canola at 11.9 MMT a big bigger than expected -with crush and exports chugging along at the
current pace will not be an issue.

    Wheat as expected.

Barley, oats and flaxseed a surprise on the small side.

Full report with estimates by province.

Will be in trouble with Statcan as should have called estimate in the title.

13.7% increase for canola; impressive reduction in flax! Still looking for $20.00/bus Triffid/free. Can feed barley move much higher with the corn buying power of the CAN$?

There will be some adjustments made to this report.

Considering worldwideevents,I would call it bullish overall.

Canola will be revised later as usual, so the inventory isn't seen as negative.

Was trying to find the last time flax production was so low and correlate prices.

Searching statscan only went back to 2006.

          Can you help?

So this is the smallest cropp since 92-93.

There's gotta be some legs in this market yet?

at least 30% of that canola number has green seed (grade loss) issues. The amount of can.#1 canola is smaller than the actual production numbers. Buyer know this and are going to be chaseing supplies by spring - IMO.

actually interesting to see how a market views a report.
