    Combining

    2000 bushels of canola averaged 16 percent, not a great drying day. Gonna try to dry it overnight so can deliver it in the morning. Funny thing after dark the combines just would not stay on top of ground. Very scary, had to pull one out. Only had a quarter inch last time but this ground just cannot handle any more moisture. Lets all prey for sunshine and a drying wind, not too much wind.

    We have not been sitting on top of the ground all year.
    When I see no water I think the field has dried a lot.
    Lol.

      accuweather says good weather all the way out for two weeks. Lets keep our fingers crossed. we had one inch yesterday, hope to get back at er on saturday.

        We had a inch this last go again and water running and all over the place got a bunch of gravel delivered yesterday the yard is just crap. Good thing dual-led up the augers.We might get going with the dryer again Saturday. Its really wet this time.

          Swathing frozen canola, slippery spongy fields with water running. Drove on smf and it's 6" of slop, totally saturated since 3" downpour Sept 1st. Sickening mess.
