Finally Some Good weather on Way!

Got Drew's long range forecast today and finally we might get a window to harvest but here is the skinny.
First probably 1 inch today. Then -3 Friday with sun peaking out late then -4 Saturday with sun. Sunday cloudy but dry. Then one more rain event probably 1 inch again on Mon Tues and wed. Then dry actually hot for 8 days till it breaks down but we will be in October. Oh wait Australia warms up in October we cool down. Wrong end of the globe. Any way October is less rain events some warm days and cool. So in a nut shell better than what we have had so far. Two more inches will mean 3 days out of 8 will be to dry down to get equipment on ground and then 5 to go stupid. Ah 2500 acres at max. oh well at least its some harvest weather. Barley is toast after checking yesterday. Totally pooched. bring on a hail storm.

Barley down on the ground, wheat straw is rotten too, it's all going down before long. One windy day, shitty canola could blow away, rest will flatten, we'd be done.
