    Heavy Rains For Sask

Latest forecast says very heavy rains for Sask today,
    also check http://wxmaps.org/pix/prec2.html, does
not look good for Sask, Last week Manitoba got drilled
with up to 6 inches, now Saskatchewan, looks like a
fight for every kernel this year.

          Just saw this for Regina...
50 to 100 mm of rain expected by Monday night.

A trough of low pressure over Southern Saskatchewan is bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region this evening. The precipitation is expected to become organized tonight as a disturbance over the northern us intensifies bringing significant rain to south Central Saskatchewan. At this time the heaviest rainfall amounts are expected along a line stretching from Regina southward along highway 6 to the us border. Total rainfall amounts in this area could range from 50 to 100 mm by Monday evening. Areas east and west of this line should see lesser amounts with 25 to 50 mm expected in the communities of Moose Jaw, Assiniboia and Estevan , rainfall throughout the area is expected to gradually taper off Monday night as this disturbance tracks eastward.

Which of you is holding water for the beavers? Is this a creek or drainage channel? With all this surface water I'm sure we will see more next spring building dams.
