God, How do we keep loosing to these wingnuts.

Can't the people who vote for these NFU clowns do math?

I wonder what would have happened had Ritz and the Conservatives not screwed the pooch and actually had the election rules changes to more accurately reflect farmers?

I thought down in Swift Current, Wall had people convinced "HOPE BEATS FEAR"

Should he even be eligible to run being an organic farmer? Total conflict of interest. Force everyone else to sell to the monopoly and he gets to buy back his grain for pennies. From what I understand,if you are a director you are not aloud to participate in the PPO programs. Will Steward Wells be able to participate in buy backs for pennies if he gets elected?

There are no vote splits in a CWB election.

So only 2 people are ever on the cwb ballots?

            Really.

Exactly gustg! But doing that may have led quite likely by now to the opening up of at least the option out. But once that is done the conservatives would actually have to have an agricultural policy directed at the other important issues that are causing industries like cattle, hogs, and grain in disaster areas to see the continual unstability and financial slaughter of farmers. And while they are yanking all of our chains, foreign ownership on the increase, no direction what so ever for ag at all, accountants, lawyers, and property sherriffs are smiling more than ever.
And I should note policy directed at bettering particularly western canada, they are hanging the cwb pork chop in front of us while in the east they are past the cwb and dealing with fixing up their situations that are already better than ours. Kinda makes us westerners all look like idiots, they must be laughing their ass off out east, we elect the government and get our chain yanked!

Don't forget larry hill and stewie wells are related by marriage, not just left wing attitudes.

And as usual the old boys club will prevail when larry hill endorses wells.

As weber keeps reminding everyone " ...its 90% politics..."

Don't worry about the cwb election rules and eligibility. They only apply to those of us who want change. There was a guy in Manitoba 2 years ago who was using the wheat boards symbol on his signs. No problem there. Our potato head director for district 7 doesn't even live or farm in district 7 go figure. And now a guy who supposedly does even sell to the cwb.
Don't worry about the rules, that highly uncredible group a few friends of the cwb will see that the rules are followed and everything is accountable right to the cwb's favor.

Gustgd your right,we can only dream and fantasize what would and could of been. When Harper,Ritz and company got elected a lot of us had so much hope and allot of promise for cwb election reforms, but, alas it just isn't happening. I could go on and on but the best way to describe and some up their performance on this cwb file would just one BIG ASS DISSAPOINTMENT!
