    Killing frost Wednesday Morning.

Looks like either Tuesday or Wednesday we will see the 2010 crop come to a end. On our farm the Canola is shitty the Peas are shitty the barley is shitty the oats is good not great and Durum is dead ripe and half the HRS will be dead buy then but half that's really nice will freeze a week to 10 days to soon.
What are others going to find if it freezes like Drew is forecasting next week.
With all the late cereals will the CWB cancel sales because of the huge volume of low quality wheat. Will Durum have a lot of #5 attached to it.
These are questions farmers need to look at.

Blend the durum with all your carryover that the board forces you to keep.

Someone is going to make a fortune on blending.

You can more money on a shitty crop than a good one.

The cwb blew out last years wheat crop and now they are going to be wishing they had some of it back to blend with.

Its too bad our forced marketing agent could not figure these things out.

If the 2-3" of rain happens, there won't be a harvest here any way. Screw 2010!

        Maybe not...
"Fortunately for certain parts of the Prairies, it appears that this storm will develop a little further south than previously expected which will spare several areas from heavy rainfall. Parts of Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba will still see some shower and thunderstorm activity that will bring significant rainfall".

What are you complaining about? We have already had 3 or 4 frost nights in some parts of Alberta.

          It's your turn now.

What are you complaining about silverback your crops are desicated for free, harvest will now be a couple weeks quicker, doesn't matter to you what you get because your 200 margin in agrivation can be calculated that mush quicker!

Some are spraying on Copper on good crops to help them to withstand frost.

sounds like you guys are getting a real scottish harvest, flat, growing, sprouting wheat. but we never get frost.
                you have my sympathy.
will your swathed grain not grow in the swathe?
