    glyphosate prices

Getting quoted $2.55/L equivalent 360 gram. THis is stupid cheap and wondering if a guy should buy a whack of it. Have not heard much about glyphosate market lately? We have to be close to cost of transportation at this point. HEck, bottled water is that price.

Dave if I could get close to that price I would take 15000 liters. Does that dude with the tanks and meeter system from Kindersley get close to that price.

Lowest price I have seen is $2.80 for 360gram Cheminova at Midwest Agro. Talk is Monsanto lowered their price.
What brand is the $2.55 stuff?

I don't know about buying lots though, not that I think its going to get cheaper but how much could it change with all the different manufacturers out there.

No, i think that bulk delivered stuff is always a little higher, I am not a real fan of that program. Hate to get locked in to one supplier. Bulani is in Bigger not Kindersley but it is available to us. I think it is available to anyone in the province actually. Paid 3.25 last spring for Polaris (360) and i think bulk delivered was something like 3.50-3.75 or so.

I did not ask what type, but it will be a generic, 450 g active (I maybe wrong but i do not care who makes the stuff, seems all to be similar). I paid $3.25 last spring and thought i bought 2 years supply, but bumped my rates due to later seeding and bigger weeds so used way more then expected. Also hitting all lentils with 1.5 L, normally use Reglone.

Thinking about buying 7000 l which is about 2 years supply. I thought it couldn't get cheaper at 3.25 and here we are 18-20% cheaper.

I just got some maverick 3 in 115L drums for 2.75 liter equivalent. Can't believe how cheap this stuff is.

That's right you guys keep telling the people reading this that it is too cheap.

That is not going to run the price up.

            Sheeshh!!!

Its is priced right considering the rip off it was at 8 bucks a litre.

How about $30/quart when it first came out? And recommendedat2 quarts/acre!

Monsanto made millions on that baby . . .

I bought a tote of FNA's cheap MP Power glyphosate this summer, and I was not impressed. I used on Chemfallow at 1 litre rate and it barely killed the grassys and there was a lot of broad-leafs that survived. Ended up having to respray it all with StartUp at the same equivalent rate and it smoked everything.

After that, I am now very weary of "cheap" glyphosate. That 30ยข I saved was defiantly not worth it. I'll be sticking to Clearout41 and StartUp from now on.

Some guys get their jollies by saving 40 cents an acre, while driving the newest flashiest machines around, and watching chinese junk fail. Whatever floats ones boat I suppose. I've got guys here who join nfa, and brag/wonder whats wrong with you if you don't worship fna. Meanwhile they have iron payments per acre that make me quiver. To each his own.

Got a letter in the mail today offering Transorb or Ultra for $3.25 an rel or a generic for $2.15 an rel. The odd part is there is no company name on the letter just a phone number. It is suppose to be delivered direct to the farm just call and give them your credit card. I was thinking of calling but am a bit nervous it is a scam. It says it is a offer only to me and I am not suppose to discuss with others or I will not get future offers. At first I thought Viterra (because of their stupid fert pricing deal and the fact they only have Ultra) but you can get Ultra down east so maybe its a broker.

The best I can do at the local retailer is $55 for Transorb a jug or $45 for RT. So its like $6 dollars cheaper but can I trust this deal? Anyone else get this letter?
