        Funny you guys should be talking about midge. I was just thinking with the ideal conditions for fungis growth. There is a good chance that the bigger problem of severe midge damage in the durum could be rampent at harvest time.

                As a seedgrower I,m a little biased I guess. But the last 2 years suggest to me that Unity is a very good wheat - midge or no midge.we,ll see what this year brings.

                    Not sure how he gets up in the morning. If you read Drew's report he is saying that these regions are behind on GGD and if we have a cooler fall, these are the regions that are most at risk.
