World Bank Tax Brainwave Squashed

Thank goodness for Canada lobbying so long and so hard to have the world bank tax idea thrown out the window. Harper stood his ground and made us proud.

Can't you imagine bankers salivating over a slush fund provided for monthly meetings, beginning in Hawaii and then on to negotiations in Australia and signings in Iceland.....and on and on?

The French President is what he is. As is Spain. Greece. The whining entitled.

It was only logical. My god, it must have been thought
up by the banks. Can you imagine if this was applied
in a farming context. Okay boys, we'll apply a food tax
and if the weather goes for poop, or your machine
breaks down or prices don't turn out in your favour or
you don't get the yields you were expecting, or gosh
darn, if you did something really stupid - don't worry,
we'll send you a check so you can relieve your stress
in Hawaii or some other fine location. We love you!

The whole concept of a world bank tax was absurd to begin with. Any extra tax would be passed on to you the customer anyway.

Geez, there are enough crooks in that business now without opening the door to more abuse.

Most of the financial crisis comes from the USA anyway and until they tighten up the regulations there, the world is still subject to their shenanigans.

Wilagro...why is everything the fault of the US. The PIGS are all broke, the EU is teetering on failure because all the poor countries within have their hand out. The US has its problems but I just hate it when they get blamed for absolutely everything....kinda like a whipping boy!
