    Seeding progress?

Any one getting any seeding done?

We got quite a bit of moisture here for a change and if
it does not rain any more should be able to start
seeding on Sunday or Monday in South West Sask.

We moved some stuff to one farm and then I headed north to lake. No one seeding or moving from Valley all way to the lake. Yorkton north wet. One guy moved drill along highway south of valley back to Regina but no one seeding. Maybe Sunday but new forecast looks awful.

We started rolling again on Friday, Edmonton. Conditions were excellent.

Looks like its going to be a bumper crop and prices should be near record. Dare to dream.

Doing some spraying ahead of the harrows.
Lots of wet spots, sprayer getting pretty muddy on the booms. At least glypho is cheap cheap. To wet to plant, but things improving. Maybe monday or tuesday start if weather holds, but will be wet out there.

Nothing moving south of the Qu'Appelle. Lots of water in the fields, need heat and sunshine. Only air seeder we saw moving in the last few days was a brand new looked like 80-90' seedmaster with huge seed/fert tank tied to a JD 4wheel. Stuck under the overhead highway sign at Balgone.
Down to one lane traffic and cops.

Rain and snow forecast in SW Sask for Sunday and showers again Wed. The rain here has been 90 days after the fog. There was not many days that were not foggy in Feb and March.

Fields fertilized last fall are way better. They could be harrowed Monday. That's why I resist one pass, we are too wet 9 out of 10 years. Standing stubble is greasy in every low spot. Have another 1000 acres to fertilize, 600 to spray, so by then conditions will be great? We hope, if it doesn't rain. Any one using "FIX", a ph modifier, with glypho?
