    new crop lentil bids

    Have most of you lock in some new crop lentil bids at the low 20's prices that are out there?

      1st time grower this yr,i locked in .21 cents for the first 500 lb per acre on 315 acres.

      would have stuck with peas until they fell below 5 bucks, so now i will try some red lentils.

              caseman have been a red lentil grower for years. locked in 20 cents act of god. finally bit the bullet. not happy but have to start somewhere.

                  I am hoping for 20 -25 bu./ac. This area last yr had lentils in the 25-35 bu./ac range.
