    ? Canola decline

Can anyone explain what is happening to the price of canola. Why is it falling? Will we see any price rallies?

The price will go up when the grain companies are confident that farmers have no more canola left to sell for the year.

The USDA is playing games so that they can import some cheap beans from south america. They'll mesteriously lose a few million tonnes in march and drive up the price in March to buy bean acres and reduce subsidy payouts.

The market has not taken into account heated and drying shrink yet. The heated won't go into human consumption market.

A comment on NAT suggests lower prices now will be used for US crop insurance values saving Gov money. Every crop in the world looks in oversupply using their numbers. Sure hope they are wrong or just fudging the near term. Weather somewhere during growing season usually brings bulls back.
