    Machinery Question

    I bought a five ton picker/knuckle truck and it has about a five foot long ram running horizontally underneath the deck which is hooked to a heavy cable which runs out the back.

    What is the specific use of this?

    Would this be able to pull out heavy stuck things?

                  I'm not sure where she was from, somewhere in Saskatchewan but earlier in the year I saw one at the Rider game that shook 40,000 fans when she sat down with 4 hotdogs, I think she would turn that ram into a pretzel pretty quick. So I'd watch who I lent it out to.
