What to see in Lethbridge ?

After Stampede this week I want to head south to Lethbridge before heading east across South SK back to home in MB.

I have sent lots of bly to feedlot alley over the past 20 years, where can I see some big feedlots in the area?

Anything else worth seeing? Might stop at Spitz in Bow Island.

Take a hike down Cowboy trail (hwy 22) south through Longview to Pincher Creek (turn left at hwy 3). Miss all those depressing crops and see some fantastic fescue rangeland. You could check out the big rock that Okotoks is named after on the way from Okotoks to Black Diamond. Turn left at the stop sign in Black Diamond and you are on 22. On the way down stop at the Bar U historic site and just before chain lakes a detour to the top of the mountain (the hump) past Indian Graves will give you a view back to Sask.

Monarch Feeders is just north of Highway 3
        on the Vulcan Highway.
Picture Butte is loaded with feedlots, Cor
        Van Raay has some there.
Call the NRCB office in Lethbridge, they
can let you know where all the big
        operations are.
If you travel through Waterton, Pincher
Creek etc. you will see some of the most
        beautiful country in our Province.
