    Cost to finish cattle this year?

    I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea on whats its costing to finsih cattle this year in feedlots? Any help would appreicated.

    Around here they are looking at about 35 cents for feed and 20/25 cents /lb for yardage so altold about 55 cents a lb but there is probably a range of 5 / 10 cents a lb.

      ... i see there is no finishers replying...maybe a trade secret to not let the competition know what their costs are...i think horse is in the ballpark...

            It's a little late but I'll throw in anyway. My uncle backgrounds/finishes and he charges 55-65 cents/lb of gain, depending on the critters and the care.
