Has any had any experience grazing field peas? The peas were hailed severly July 29th. They have come back, some have pods and some are blooming. I don't want to have any cattle losses by turning the cows into them.

When we cut and baled some peas that were hammered by the Great White Combine, the cows would leave Alfalfa and chop to eat it as you rolled the bales out. I'm not sure about grazing it, so just call the Ag. Info. Hotline - 1-866-882-7677. Ask for a beef or crop specialist and they'll be able to help you.
