Au has a huge freight advantage over us in all aspects of trade.

Mallie how are all your shipping line ports with the environmentalist. With the world renowned Great Barrier Reef and all.By the way here in Canada our cattle market is basically ran by what the Chicago Mercantile Exchange is doing.

Beef exported out of darwin live and possibly in north west WA broome derby pt hedland one of the them.

Reckon most out of southern port frozen bodies of beef and no real ports near great barrier reef.

Im actually a wool and lamb and mutton producer got out of cattle hmmm 8 to 10 years ago but just giving you guys info from another marketer.

              A lot more data here

The bar chart on pg 6 titled "Competition in Australia’s major export markets" seems to confirm the problem we have had with few markets to ship to. We see to be laggards as compared to the competition.

The pg 7 chart "Evolution of China beef imports" shows us developing market in 2016 but soon gave most of it up.

The last chart with average export price is the most disappointing to me. Uruguay does as well???
