Do you have enough? I think there is lots in central Alberta. I've had three or four guys phone looking for a buyer for hay and straw. Talked to a guy yesterday in the mart who bought 400 round bales for $20 each. 1100 lb. alphalfa/brome, no rain(probably the only year when the hay sellers are telling the truth about "no rain")!
There is so much straw around that I doubt you could give it away. I suspect all the grain farmers will have to sell the new balers they bought last year when they were trying to cash in on gouging the cattlemen!
Most grain crops around here turned out fairly well. Probably about average or slightly below. Which is pretty amazing as it never rained all summer.
