Allnighter on bill 2 at the legislature!

At 7:26 the legislature is still in session with the committee of the whole. They did Bill 2 all night. Every amendment proposed (some very moderate) was voted down by the PC party. Not one word will be changed in Bill 2.

At 5:40 AM they shifted over to Bill 8 (the scrapping of bill 50).

My MLA (Towle) emailed me this morning at 5:30 saying she was going to catch a couple hours of sleep. They are working in shifts. She says the government is trying to wear them down, but they intend to force them to use closure on both Bill 2 and Bill 8!

Danielle Smith and Joe Anglin met with CAPP last week asking them to tell the government some amendments were needed to protect property rights in Bill 2. CAPP told them NO, absolutely not!

That pretty well says it all....the boss has spoken and Redford and company will have to obey!

Maybe now people will wake up to the fact that we don't have a government.....we have puppets for the Oil and Gas companies!

Houston, we have problem here. Oh dear.
Why meeting at night, that stupid.
Just now read pdf of Bill 2. So that
regulator just like above the law
without help of ERCB agency. Wonder if
someone ie: oil company telephone call
say want to survey on my land, and I may
say go to next neighbour and hang up so
they save money by not doing survey on
my land and might go next neighbour. But
with new Bill 2, may different than what
    I thought.

Don't forget all the parts that can be
        changed/added/amended/enforced/retrofitted
by the Lieutenant Governor in Council. As
in the Cabinet of the ruling party without
        any public discourse/discussion or
        publication of the above.
