    South Saskatchewan Regional Plan

Starting on November 6 the Alberta government dog and pony show is going to be pretending they care about what you think! Public meetings to get your opinion on how all of southern Alberta will be developed and sold out to the PC's corporate bosses!

    The Government website says:

    Your land...Your plan...Your time!

    Now that is funny!

If you live in this area attend one of these little "democratic participation with a predetermined outcome" events? It won't change what they have already decided is in store for you.....but at least you'll be able to see pure manipulation in action!

The latest revelations at the legislature last week that a billionaire bought the government in the last election, should have every Albertan alarmed? When they get so blatant they don't even try to hide it....we all should be concerned?

This South Saskatchewan Regional Plan is the phony formula these crooks have come up with to steal your property and your rights and freedoms!
Business as usual with the Redford government!

Wouldn't "your land - your plan" imply
that if you have title it is really
"yours" and no one else's business what
you do as long as you are not impacting
the neighbours? Now that's a plan...

As I listen to Albertans complain about these land
grab bills, I wonder how did you all allow this to
happen? Couldn't you run candidates that could
      kick their land grabbing butts?

The four land grab bills were just rammed through during a fairly short time by an arrogant government. 2009-2010.
The 40 year dynasty had a large majority and a very weak minority.

In 2012 we elected what was basically a new party the "Wildrose" to official opposition status of 17 seats in an 87 seat legislature. Of the 17 seats, 15 were from the rural south....an area that usually voted solid PC.

The Wildrose leader, Danielle Smith, came out of the property rights movement and is best described as a libertarian, somewhat like Ron Paul in the US.

The PC party used some pretty dirty politics in the final week of the campaign or the Wildrose might have actually formed the government.

The present PC government is pretty liberal, scandal laden, and fiscally irresponsible. We are running a $3 billion deficit despite record oil income.

The Wildrose really wasn't ready for prime time. Hopefully next time they will form the government and will repeal the bills.

Sumdumguy, not so easy with AB having the largest
urban population on the prairies - 82% by 2006
statistics compared to SKs 65% and MBs 72%.
