    JBS non-feds?

Anyone else hear that JBS has quit buying cows and
bulls this week? Seems prices are off quite a bit.

Haven't checked numbers, but this time of year after seeding, people have more time to get rid of the "non-producers"...maybe an influx for a bit???

Canfax this afternoon reports plant issues
          (operational/mechanical) with regards to
          bidding on these classes.

Sure it's not linked to this emerging story? Insider knowledge or am I being paranoid?

Nothing like a little CJD cluster to put the cat among
              the pigeons as it were.

More time spent saying it is not likely, however I am sure it scared off a few meat eaters.....

So I guess its a non-story as it is not vCJD but classic
CJD and the authorities are stressing no link to food
consumption. Global news are getting some flack
after running the story on their website as "3
confirmed cases of human mad cow disease"
Although the text on their story has now been
changed they still have the picture of some dairy
cows accompanying the amended story though.

My report from Kevin Grier this morning
cites computer issues. He is usually
pretty right on this plant stuff.
