What Can You Do when The Government Refuses to Listen?

The Alberta government Task Force on Property Rights was supposed to listen to rural landowners. They promised they would release the results of what they heard at the open public meetings....by January 31st....they didn't!
We knew it was nothing but a sham, but trotted out and did our civic duty and told them exactly what we want....Repeal the four land theft bills!
In the next few days we expect a "we listened, we care, we need to communicate better".......but due to time constraints....we'll have to wait until after the provincial election...don't worry....be happy.....we'll take care of you!
Please don't buy this bullshit! If we go with the flow on this garbage, expect the assault on your property to heat up!
We're working behind the scenes on this stuff......we aren't going to get screwed by these scoundrels without one hell of a fight!

I will vote for them to be OUT. Forty years with one stupid party running things is and has been ridiculous...the arrogance displayed by these turkeys says it all.

wilagro: That is what is needed! There is only one party that can make that happen, and unfortunately some people won't vote for them for ideological reasons (they are fairly right leaning). Some people might have to hold their noses when they enter the polling booth?
If not, nothing will change....the same scoundrels will be back in there.
The Liberals or NDP will never get enough votes to elect a rural MLA in Alberta......just a fact.

What we need is not just to vote out the current lot
but vote out the next few Governments in quick
succession. It doesn't really matter what party you
support to make democracy work you need to keep
them on their toes so they realize they work on our
behalves and not the other way around.
At the end of the day we get what we deserve, if the
majority continue to be uninterested in change we
get the same old crooks again.
