What is needed for new farmers livestock and grain? and old?

What do you think is the direction of these industries? Can it just direct itself or should there be some leadership designing policy, should we have any say in the trade deals?

I'll bite. I see two models emerging,
neither of which involves medium sized
family farms. The two models are smaller,
    "niche" market operations or large
operations where young folks are the
    employees moving up into management
    positions. I can't see a lot of mid-sized
farms where the debt load is high and the
cash to live is low really being that
    inspiring to the next generation.

For me they could pay the fire supression bill they sent me. Burned about 3 acres of government bush land cost $59,900.00 Trying to clear bush land can have it risks!
