$875 for 1100 lb bred black heifers

Sold on teamauctionsales.com this morning I remember back when....well I guess its 10 year heifers like these were 1300 to 1400 bucks. With money being only 4% I think someone got a buy.

I guess I am one of a few who has bought cows this winter and will still have feed left over. Cutting my oats for green feed was a very good idea!

It's less than 10 years. On May 20, 2003, I unloaded a load of black commercial heifers for breeding weighing around 8 that cost me over $1100.

That was the day they found the cow with BSE. Not a good day. And not many good days since then.

Two weeks before BSE was discovered I sold
a small group of bred heifers, averaged
$1350 for them.
Those were the Days my FRIENDS !!!
