-10, when to cut greenfeed?

We had some barley seeded in july which in the past two weeks looked like it could make a crop. ie: turning yellow, soft to heavy dough. Last nites temp puts an end to that. So, back to the original plan of greenfeed. Nitrates. Baling is the only option at this point. When to cut? Some say today, some say wait 10 days. Any input would be appreciated.

Are you going to get 10 frost free days? What about swath grazing? Nitrates are water soluble and will leave after some rains and snows. If not I would go today. For sure get it tested.
