    2001 Apple Crop

Most growers are well aware of the prolonged dry period that has just occured -- certainly in Nova Scotia. My observations are that the drought didn't have as significant impact on the Nova Scotia apple crop as other crops. I am curious to know how growers' 2001 apple crop in Nova Scotia and across Canada compares to the previous 3 crops?

my 2001 crop (on my 2 trees) here in Alberta was the largest in the last 8 years. Extended spring with no frost, long dry summer and late fall frost all combined with frequent watering seemed to do the trick.
