Anyone have a laptop in the pickup?

I was talking to one of my friends the other day and we are both thinking we will eventually have to have a small laptop with us when running around.

He was looking at one of his fields and when I asked him what seed variety, he said he did not remember....

Just wondering if anyone else has a good set up...where would you put it?

Most of the supplier company reps who are on the road visiting customers have laptops that are set up in thier cars and trucks.

It is likely that most farmers will have a computer they take with them and have a satellite isp so they are connected. Blackberries that are webenabled can do email and surfing right now.

As for a laptop in your truck i would suggest get a rugged one. they are built better for dusty and harder conditions. Most of them are all weather and can take a good drop. They may cost more but they may be worth it.
