    cicer milkvetch

I am considering planting some cicer milkvetch and orchard grass for a rotational grazing system. Any information on problems or tips would be welcome. Especially on germination, winter hardiness, mixture percentage, fertilizer requirements, and grazing intervals would be appreciated.

My limited experience with cicer says 'only with patience'. I've seen tremendous growth in plots of pure cicer. When we tried some in a mix of m.brome and orchard grass at home (black soil west of Olds)there wasn't much sign of the cicer for the first 5 years - we're starting to see a few plants now. Good luck!
